An important part of the admission process is understanding how many transfer credits you may be able to apply to your chosen degree program. In fact, transferring credits could potentially reduce your total tuition cost and time spent earning your degree.

Columbia Southern University is committed to helping students make the most of their previously earned academic credits, professional licenses, certificates and training programs. CSU also considers credit by examination, and knowledge learned by experiential or equivalent learning.

Transfer Credit Acceptance

The acceptance of transfer credits between academic institutions lies within the discretion of the Office of the Registrar. CSU encourages students to review the transfer credit policy and transfer credit articulation agreements to learn more about transfer credit opportunities.

Need Help Gathering Your Transcripts? We Can Do That

To make the process as easy as possible, CSU will request transcripts from your previously attended institutions on your behalf. All you have to do is complete the transcript request form and we will notify you once your official transcripts have been received.

Transfer Credits From CSU

Any CSU student desiring to transfer credit into another institution should contact the Office of the Registrar at that institution to determine if credit or a degree transferability. For more information, review Transferring Credits From CSU and Acceptance of CSU Degrees.
