CSU Brings Back DBA Program

05/02/2016

After numerous student requests, Columbia Southern University (CSU) is bringing back its online doctorate in business administration program.

“CSU is ready again to help students earn a Doctor of Business Administration at a competitive cost,” said Elwin Jones, PhD, assistant provost for academic affairs. He added that the degree program, which is currently accepting enrollments, offers a huge benefit to students’ careers.

“The way they think, the way they write and how they talk – it’s those new learned ways of absorbing information that give students the competitive advantage within a career opportunity,” Jones explained.

Throughout the DBA coursework, students focus on topics aimed to promote new ideas including comparing and contrasting the value of educational experience with practical experience, optimizing organizational effectiveness, enhancing professional competency and enhancing professional growth.

“For students who have earned their associate, bachelor’s or master’s degrees in business, the DBA helps to combine all of those together into a unique package, transforming the student from an average job candidate into a preferred job candidate.”

While a doctorate in business administration strengthens education and job opportunities, Jones offers a simple reminder to those thinking of enrolling: “It’s no secret that earning a doctoral degree involves commitment, dedication and time. But any student willing to enroll has the advantage of CSU’s very credible and qualified faculty who are ready and willing to assist them in completing their degree.”
