Career ServicesColumbia Southern University’s degree programs in military studies programs are designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of military operations, tactics, communications and outcomes.
Multiple factors, including prior experience, geography and degree field, affect career outcomes. CSU does not guarantee a job, promotion, salary increase, eligibility for a position, or other career growth. Transferring credits does not guarantee reduced tuition or amount of courses.
It is a win-win for both us because on one hand he or she is helping you and on the other hand you are getting the help you need. Having that support through the military brotherhood helps us all.

B.S. Criminal Justice
I was deployed 4 times while trying to achieve a degree. As challenging as that was, I still pushed through. Because of CSU’s and their understanding, it allowed me to serve and study at the same time. I didn’t have to choose one or the other.

While in service, I started my associate degree at CSU, and it really set me up for success on the outside and assisted in my promotion to the rank of staff sergeant in the United States Army.
